What is the difference between life coaching and therapy?
Therapy is a past-focus discipline, whereby the therapist psychoanalyzes the past and looks at its impact on an individual; delving into the reasons for the client’s feelings and behaviours. Life coaching is a future-focused, client-driven and goal-oriented process. It focuses on the now. It essentially encompasses everything from how to make the effective, deliberate and efficient shifts required to improve our lives and deal with challenges, to- actually achieving it.
